As the locals are all aware the Gelsinger Family is a tried and true part of our La Crescenta/Montrose community. This professional family of quality markets, deli and people can not be out done for the products that they provide. Standards and service come 1st and it shows each and everyday. I recently have been dealing with Sarah a grand-daughter of this fine clan. In preparing for a baby shower with a simple menu Sarah has come thru with all of my requests and craziness.
I am so thankful that they have added the deli and catering service once again. I promise that if have not had the experience of professionalism and quality The Gelsinger family offers you will not be disappointed.

I want to say great things about this place, because I really did have the absolute best pastrami sandwich I've ever had here, and I've eaten a lot of good pastrami. The meat was so fresh, perfectly sliced and flavorful without being too salty, However, I spent nearly twenty bucks for a quick sandwich and a fountain drink. Certainly not something I can see doing as a habit.

I came here on a Saturday night before heading over to the Hollywood Bowl. We were greeted by Jessica, who provided us with excellent customer service. Gelsinger, you guys are very lucky to have such a superb employee. She answered all the questions I had in regards to the menu and even let me sample a few meats of their homemade meats. I've read a review that complained about the price, but I mean c'mon these meats are fresh, homemade, and of very high quality; of course they are going to be a little more than the norm. This is quality meat here. The establishment was very clean and welcoming We arrived at the restaurant at 5, and they close at 6. We were never rushed to leave or felt as if they wanted us out of the restaurant at any moment, despite the fact that it was near closing time. I opted for the roast beef dip sandwich with au jus and it was so delicious. The meat was so tender, flavorful and juicy. My daughter had a cheeseburger with cheddar cheese. It must've been very delicious because she devoured it before I could even snap a picture of it. My dad had a BYO sandwich with roast beef, ham, and Swiss cheese. We also had fries and onion rings. Both were so crispy and delicious. I would definitely be coming back to this fine establishment, the hour drive is totally worth it!

I really loved this place. The sandwiches are delicious! Me and my brother split the rotisserie bird club and the beef banh mi, both tasted amazing. This place is a great addition to food option in the Montrose area, the staff is friendly and the food is quality. They have a bunch of available seating inside so definitely check this place out or order to go you won't be disappointed!

Love this spot! I've had both the sandwiches and salads and they are amazing! Fresh ingredients and great portions. Recommend this place to anyone who wants a real and fresh sandwich/salad!
